Data Engineer (w/m/d)

To support our digital transformation journey, we are looking for a Data Engineer who will shape and develop our centralized data intelligence platform for self-service BI solutions and advanced AI applications across the organization.

YOUR TASKS

• Design, develop and maintain robust data flows integrating information from multiple systems and sources
• Build and optimize data models to support Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and AI solutions
• Contribute to the evolution of our Data Lakehouse architecture, enhancing performance, scalability, security and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Key Users and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
• Support the adoption of self-service BI and advanced AI tools, fostering data literacy and analytical capabilities throughout the organization
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Management Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of extensive experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics or similar roles
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure Synapse Analytics and Power BI
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, YAML, Power Query and DAX
• Comfortable using natural language prompts to accelerate code development and problem-solving. Familiarity with LLMs, MCP Servers, Agentic AI, and application development is a plus.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and independently deliver data solutions from design to implementation, using a strong analytical and problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and either Italian or German

Workplace: Auna di Sotto/Unterinn, BZ

In accordance with EU Directive 2023/970 on pay transparency, we indicate a starting salary of 40.960 € (gross annual salary) for this position. The exact classification may be adjusted based on clearly defined, objective criteria such as professional experience, skill level, and the scope of responsibility required.
