As Project Manager in our Latvian Project Development team, you will play a central role in the early-stage development of wind, solar PV and BESS projects, with a strong focus on maturing and strengthening Eurowind Energy’s project pipeline in the Latvian market.


EWE Neue Energie, SIA is a joint venture between Eurowind Energy and Neue Energien Ingenieurplanungen GmbH, combining Danish and German renewable energy expertise to deliver professional energy projects in Latvia.


Eurowind Energy, based in Denmark, is a leading global developer, owner, and operator of wind and solar projects across Europe and the U.S., with a fully integrated value chain and more than 700 employees dedicated to advancing renewable energy. Neue Energien Ingenieurplanungen GmbH is a German family-owned company with over 30 years of experience in wind farm development, known for its strong engineering expertise and high standards.


Together, the joint venture develops wind farms and hybrid energy parks combining wind, solar, and storage technologies. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and stakeholder engagement, EWE Neue Energie currently has more than 600 MW of projects under development in Latvia.


Your role

You will operate in an entrepreneurial setup with local decision-making authority, working hands-on with projects and collaborating closely with a broad internal and external stakeholder landscape. The role reports directly to the Country Manager of Latvia and is embedded in a strong and collaborative international organisation.


The Latvian team is a part of a large global Project Development organisation of approx. 50 colleagues, where knowledge sharing, ownership and teamwork are key success factors.


Main responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the pre-construction integrated schedule for wind, PV and BESS parks
  • Drive construction permit packages to closure, including turbines, roads, substations, cables and related infrastructure
  • Coordinate topography surveys, geotechnical investigations, LiDAR campaigns,final project layouts and other relevant matters
  • Lead grid-related technical requirements and compliance alignment
  • Manage and coordinate interfaces between EPC contractors, local designers, suppliers, TSO and municipalities
  • Identify risks, dependencies and potential delays, and escalate proactively to ensure timely mitigation
  • Contribute actively to the maturation and quality of the Latvian project pipeline


Your profile

We are looking for a structured and driven Project Manager with strong ownership and the ability to navigate complex development environments.


Professional experience and competencies:

  • A relevant academic degree in Management, Law, Economics, Construction, Engineering or Energy
  • Proven project management experience from renewable energy projects, real estate development or other large-scale infrastructure projects, including coordination of multiple development partners
  • Solid general understanding of financial models and project economics
  • Familiarity with technical design, permitting and/or grid processes
  • Experience with wind and/or solar PV, BESS project development and/or construction is an advantage
  • Comfortable engaging with and influencing key internal and external stakeholders


Personal skills:

  • Ability to work structured and independently under time pressure, delivering consistently against critical deadlines
  • Analytical, result-oriented and proactive mindset
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly in a corporate, international environment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluent in Latvian and English, both written and spoken, enabling daily cooperation with local and international colleagues and partners
