Role Overview:

We are looking for a Mid/Senior Java Developer to join a long-term telecom project. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working with microservices architecture, and ensuring high-performance systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java development, solution design, REST APIs, and modern delivery practices such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Java
  • Work with microservices architecture and contribute to technical solution design
  • Build, maintain, and optimise REST APIs and backend systems
  • Support delivery through CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices
  • Work with containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Apply software security principles and development best practices
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in a long-term project setup

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Java development with a strong technical background
  • Expertise in solution design and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience building and optimising REST APIs and backend systems
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and related tools
  • Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Lithuanian citizenship required
  • Fluent Lithuanian
  • English B2+, written and spoken

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on telecom projects
