2D Character Animator

Our video production division specializes in creating promotional and explainer content for clients across a range of industries. We are currently seeking a talented 2D animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating captivating character animations for various promotional and explainer projects. The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of creative professionals, contributing their expertise and creativity to produce visually stunning and engaging content. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled animator to showcase their talents and grow their career in a dynamic and exciting industry.

What you will do:

• Animate different shots according to 2D layout files / storyboards given, mostly in After Effects
• Prepare illustrations and designs for 2D animation, including layers arrangement and rigging
• Work closely with the Designer, Animation Director and Creative Director to achieve the projects' goals
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in character animation
• Full control of After Effects
• Understanding of storytelling, character motives and context
• Punctuality, attention to detail, great understanding of body mechanics, physics, weight, and acting
• Working closely with references to achieve a high level of production
• Working efficiently and according to a structured pipeline (from blocking to polish)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Highly organised
• High level English and ability to express yourself
• Self-driven, independent, problem solver. Knows how to provide creative solutions within a given budget.

• Knowledge of Spine and/or Unity and/or Animate
• Illustration skills
