Experienced Platform Engineer (DevOps) for Build and Release Engineering

The Developer Experience tribe offers an exciting opportunity to improve the productivity and satisfaction of developers here at Danske Bank.

As s Senior IT Platform Engineer, you will ensure the availability, stability, security, and integrity of the company’s Platform. Furthermore, you will monitor, maintain and evolve the platform and troubleshoot problems that may arise.

Build & Release Engineering provides Standard, Compliant, centrally managed and Supported CI/CD pipelines for Cloud and Mobile Development. We manage and support standard CI/CD and Repository tool chain.

Joining us means being a part of the biggest cloud migration journey in the bank, taking ownership of engineering tools and providing users a toolset to improve their development productivity.

You will:

• Design and standardize centrally managed CI/CD pipelines including (but not limited to) deploying of software products to AWS public cloud
• Develop GitHub Actions (JavaScript, Composite)
• Design and create re-usable GitHub Workflows with centralization and standardization in mind
• Transform Azure DevOps standard templates to re-usable workflows
• Transform Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Workflows
• Integrate Test Automation into CI/CD
• Build automation and Self-Service for our solutions
• Contribute to documentation and guides for developed CI/CD solutions.
  
  

About you:

• Extensive experience in DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Practical experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud
• Experience with creating and managing custom actions (composite, JavaScript)
• Experience with Azure DevOps Server and Services
• Proficiency in creating and managing pipeline templates
• Proven experience working with AWS public cloud resources and services
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (OpenShift, K8s)
• Proficient in at least one programming language C# or Golang
  
  

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4960 EUR to 7440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
