Chief Kubernetes Engineer
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid)
We're looking for a Chief Kubernetes Engineer to lead the design, automation, and evolution of a large-scale Kubernetes platform running across private and public cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS EKS.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and support Kubernetes platforms in AWS (EKS)
- Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Improve platform reliability, security, and observability
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize operations
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across teams
- Contribute to the platform roadmap and drive engineering best practices
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including AWS EKS
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Route 53, Load Balancers, Lambda, and Storage
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps/IaC tools
- Good understanding of cloud security and observability
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
- Upper-intermediate English or higher
