Chief Kubernetes Engineer

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid)

We're looking for a Chief Kubernetes Engineer to lead the design, automation, and evolution of a large-scale Kubernetes platform running across private and public cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS EKS.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and support Kubernetes platforms in AWS (EKS)
• Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
• Improve platform reliability, security, and observability
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize operations
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across teams
• Contribute to the platform roadmap and drive engineering best practices

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including AWS EKS
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Route 53, Load Balancers, Lambda, and Storage
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps/IaC tools
• Good understanding of cloud security and observability
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Upper-intermediate English or higher
