Software Delivery Coordinator

Our client – a software development and testing company specialized in medical solutions – is currently looking to strengthen its team with a Software Delivery Coordinator.

The Software Delivery Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating software development activities for embedded software. The role ensures that development teams, quality functions, and project stakeholders work in alignment regarding software deliverables, documentation, schedules, and releases. The Software Coordinator maintains an overview of project progress, interfaces, dependencies, and compliance-relevant artifacts, ensuring that software development and verification activities are executed consistently, traceably, and in accordance with regulatory and quality system requirements. Acting as a central communication and coordination hub, the Software Coordinator supports efficient collaboration and ensures readiness for reviews and releases.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinate software development activities across project teams. Ensuring alignment of tasks, priorities, milestones, and deliverables
• Maintain and monitor the software development schedule. This includes dependencies between design, implementation, testing, configuration management, and release steps
• Facilitate communication and alignment between Software Development parties. Including System Engineering, DQA, Verification & Validation, and Software Configuration Management
• Track progress and status of software work packages. Including defect resolution, change requests, and implementation tasks
• Support the planning and coordination of software releases. Ensuring all required inputs (e.g. builds, configuration items, documentation) are complete and compliant
• Maintain relevant Software development metrics. Maintain dashboards, status reports, action lists, and project trackers to ensure transparency and traceability of software activities
• Coordinate with DevOps, SCM, and development teams. Ensuring timely delivery of builds, test results, and release artifacts
• Assist with onboarding new team members. Focus on project workflows, tools, and processes

Skills you will need:

• Understanding of embedded software development processes in regulated environments (IEC 62304 or comparable)
• Familiarity with ALM/PLM tools, issue-tracking systems, and documentation management platforms
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management principles, and verification workflows
• Ability to read and understand software project documentation (requirements, architecture, test reports, release notes)
• Experience with planning, tracking, and documentation tools (e.g., Polarion, Azure DevOps, Windchill)
• Basic understanding of version control workflows and branching/baseline concepts
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Structured and analytical thinking with the ability to manage dependencies across teams
• Strong sense of responsibility and solution-oriented mindset
