Data & Automation Analyst (Risk and compliance) | AIFM
The Data & Automation Analyst will support the development of automation solutions, internal applications, and data management processes across multiple business functions.
The successful candidate will spend their time both building technology-driven solutions that reduce manual activities and ensuring that the underlying data supporting those processes remains accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical skills with business problem-solving and wants to develop expertise in process improvement, automation, and data governance.
Tasks :
- Design, build, and maintain applications, scripts, and automated workflows that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Develop and support internal business applications and reporting tools.
- Leverage low-code and no-code technologies alongside coding and scripting solutions to deliver scalable business solutions.
- Integrate systems and applications through APIs and automated workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technology solutions.
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation to ensure solutions remain scalable, supportable, and auditable.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, bug fixing, and continuous enhancement of developed solutions.
- Support the implementation of innovative technologies, including AI-assisted development tools where appropriate.
- Monitor and maintain the quality, consistency, and completeness of business-critical data.
- Develop validation checks, controls, and alerts to identify data quality issues.
- Investigate data discrepancies and work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve root causes.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting and analytical datasets.
- Contribute to the establishment of strong data governance and data management practices.
- Support ongoing monitoring of data flows and business processes.
Profile :
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to develop software, scripts, automations, or technical solutions either through professional experience, personal projects, or academic work.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fluent English is required.
