MTM Partners is an independent management consulting firm based in Luxembourg. We work with clients in the Funds industry, Fintech, Health & Care and beyond — helping them deliver projects that make a real impact.
About the role
To reinforce our team we are looking for an experienced Alteryx Consultant who will join the client's IT team. Embedded within a business-facing IT function, you will play a central role in transforming manual, spreadsheet-heavy processes into governed, automated workflows — covering reporting, operational controls, and process optimisation across multiple business units.
This is a hands-on delivery role with strong exposure to business stakeholders, where your ability to bridge the gap between IT and operations will be as important as your technical expertise.
What you will do
— Design, build and maintain Alteryx workflows to automate reporting cycles, reconciliations and operational control processes
— Identify and analyse existing manual processes across business teams and translate requirements into efficient, scalable Alteryx solutions
— Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams to deliver process improvements with measurable impact
— Integrate Alteryx workflows with existing data sources (ERP, GL, data warehouses, flat files) and output to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) or shared environments
— Ensure quality, traceability and documentation of all automated processes to meet audit and regulatory requirements
— Support the migration of Excel-based End User Computing (EUC) processes onto the Alteryx platform
— Act as an internal Alteryx champion — promoting best practices, supporting upskilling of business users and contributing to the continuous improvement roadmap
Your profile
***Valid Luxembourg work permit mandatory***
✅ Alteryx Designer Advanced Certified (strong plus)
✅ Proven track record of delivering Alteryx automation projects in financial services or insurance
✅ Solid understanding of ETL principles, data blending, scheduling and macro development
✅ Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate or equivalent tools
✅ Experience working with Finance, Audit or Operations teams to automate reporting and control processes
✅ Excellent analytical mindset with rigorous attention to data quality and process documentation
✅ Strong interpersonal skills — comfortable presenting solutions to both IT and non-technical business stakeholders
✅ Fluent in English; French is an asset
Nice to have
— Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS 17 or regulatory reporting frameworks
— Experience with Alteryx Server (scheduling, governance, user management)
— Familiarity with Anaplan, SharePoint or VBA-based legacy processes
Why this role?
You'll be working at the intersection of IT and business transformation, with real visibility on the impact of your work. If you thrive on turning complex, repetitive processes into clean automated solutions — and enjoy working in a regulated, data-intensive environment — this role is for you.
