About the role

As People Operations & HR Specialist, you own the full employee lifecycle and report to the COO. You're the go-to person for employees, managers and suppliers on all things HR operations — from contracts and international onboarding to salary changes, pensions, lease cars, laptops and the bike plan.

You'll also help build out and professionalise HR as the organisation scales internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding across multiple countries
• Draft and manage employment contracts, addenda and HR documentation
• Coordinate payroll and verify processing with external partners
• Manage benefits: pensions, lease cars, laptops, SIM cards and bike plans
• Keep HR processes compliant with labour law and improve them through automation
• Build HR reports and workforce analytics for leadership
• Support international expansion by setting up HR in new countries

Requirements

• 5+ years in HR Operations, People Operations or HR Administration
• Solid grasp of payroll, employment contracts and HR administration
• Knowledge of Dutch labour law; international experience is a strong plus
• Familiarity with pensions, lease cars and secondary benefits
• Strong organiser with sharp attention to detail
• Able to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders at once
• Proactive and self-directed
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Comfortable with HR systems, payroll software and Microsoft Office
• Thrives in a fast-growing scale-up
