Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Research & Innovation team. The successful candidate will work with Python-based data transformations and applications, coordinating with IT and business teams to deliver value-driven data solutions. This role involves mapping, preparing, and transforming data to support analytics, dashboards, and application support, ensuring timely delivery across various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pilot data processing solutions, transitioning successful projects to IT for scaling.
• Create and maintain Python scripts for data transformation and preparation.
• Support and adapt existing applications to meet evolving needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to structure and coordinate data mapping activities.
• Translate business requirements into clear inputs for analytics and dashboard development.
• Validate data and analytics solutions from a business perspective to ensure accuracy.
• Manage project timelines, tracking deliverables to meet deadlines.
• Engage with end-users to validate outputs and refine solutions collaboratively.
• Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency across datasets.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills, including experience with Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and Streamlit.
• Experience with data transformation and preparation workflows.
• Basic understanding of statistical measures such as mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation.
• Familiarity with GitHub or basic version control tools.
• Ability to clearly structure and communicate data, analytics, and reporting requirements.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
• Comfortable working in a business-facing role and collaborating with IT teams.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and focused on execution.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical, scientific, or business field.
• Industry experience in food or chemicals is a plus.
