Senior iOS Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team in Spain.

About The Role

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project for a manufacturing Danish company.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and maintain robust and scalable iOS applications with a focus on building reusable components, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and contributing to products used globally
• Cultivate and sustain a high-quality engineering culture, emphasizing software craftsmanship and Swift best practices
• Implement DevSecOps principles in iOS development, adopting a "you build it - you own it" mentality, with a focus on writing secure and efficient Swift code
• Incorporate security and “privacy by design” in mobile application development, ensuring compliance without impeding progress, and maintaining user trust
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into engaging and intuitive iOS applications, prioritizing user experience in all development stages
• Participate in design reviews and user feedback sessions, contributing technical insights to enhance app functionality and user interface design
• Mentor other engineers, elevating their understanding of mobile application design and Swift programming, promoting continuous learning and development
• Supplementing our product team mentioned above adding extra development competencies and additional Capacity
• Delivering backlog items aligned with product priorities incl documentation and automatic testing
• Ensuring knowledge sharing with clients colleagues
• Developing using best practices aligned with the clients product team
• Participate in team ceremonies such as planning, refinement, stand-ups, and potentially pair programming
• Main deliverables:
• Product teams iOS application portfolio
• Cultivation and growth of front-end development practices using Swift framework
  

Requirements

• Experience with Agile methodology
• Good communication skills – both on a technical level for engineer-engineer, but also to our business specialist/functional stakeholders
• Team player, - a mindset of WE over I
• Native iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI
• Provisioning and signing of iOS apps
• Git
  
  

Desirable

• Experience with ReactNative (for porting to native iOS)
• Experience with in-house iOS application deployment
• Frontend development using Typescript, Javascript, and React
• Backend development with .NET and C#
• API development using OpenAPI, and AsyncAPI
• Experience with SQL databases
• Azure Cloud, Redis, RabbitMQ, Pulsar
