Job Summary

The Project Manager leads and coordinates cross-functional projects related to transfers, new launches, and product changes, ensuring successful delivery from feasibility phase to start of production. This role is responsible for planning, execution, and monitoring of projects in line with customer requirements, internal standards, and business objectives.

The position ensures structured project management, adherence to APDS methodology, effective stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement of processes and performance.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and track project activities together with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards
  • Application of the AS007 change management methodology and monitoring of project phases
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and reviews for internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and report key project KPIs (e.g. quality, delivery, PPAP, DPMU, OTD)
  • Support implementation of projects within Autoliv operations, ensuring alignment with engineering and manufacturing standards
  • Identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities, driving corrective actions and process optimization
  • Maintain and update project tracking tools (e.g. Launch Platform, LOP)
  • Ensure accurate information flow and alignment between all stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and change management processes

Experience

  • Experience in project management, preferably in engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects
  • Experience with structured methodologies (APDS, APQP or similar)
  • Experience in coordinating product industrialization or transfer projects
  • Understanding of production processes and quality requirements

Technical Skills And Competencies

  • Good knowledge of project management principles and tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of KPIs related to quality, delivery, and performance
  • Good level of English (business communication level)
