We are looking for a talented UI designer to join our team and contribute to the digitalization program. As a UI designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that support our mission in the development of Norway’s continental shelf.
Responsibilities
- Develop the aesthetic appearance of applications, including color palettes, typography, icons, and graphic elements.
- Design layouts for pages and screens to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly experience.
- Create interactive prototypes to test and demonstrate design concepts before implementation.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers to ensure visual design supports the user experience.
- Participate in user testing to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs.
- Continuously improve and update designs based on feedback and new trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI design.
- Strong understanding of universal design principles (UU).
- Experience using Figma for creating designs and interactive prototypes.
- Experience with design systems in Figma, such as designsystemet.no.
- Desirable: Certification in graphic design and visual communication.
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). The agency uses Azure DevOps.
- Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably at the master’s level.
- Candidates available full-time (80–100% capacity) will be preferred.
