Position Details

For one of the leading banking institutions we provide consultancy services for, we are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise banking applications across Core Banking, Commercial Banking, and Digital Banking platforms.

What We're Looking For

• 1–4 years of experience in software development, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Proficiency in C#.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with React for web applications or digital banking channels.
• Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Good understanding of Layered Architecture and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with Git or TFS.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with banking products or financial solutions such as Non-Cash Lending, Leasing, Direct Debit System (DBS), Guaranteed Fund Transfer (GFT), Supplier Financing System (TFS), Reference & Letter of Intent processes, or Installment Systems is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Based in Istanbul and available to work in a hybrid working model.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-scale banking applications using .NET technologies.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of commercial and digital banking products.
• Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases and queries.
• Develop and maintain user-facing applications using React.
• Build and integrate REST and SOAP services with internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve existing applications.
