About the Role:

We are looking for an AI Developer to join our client's team and help deliver AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, and Microsoft 365.

**Please note that this is a project-based contract role with an end date of 30 September 2026.**

As an AI Developer, you will combine technical consulting with hands-on software development, specializing in Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, and Microsoft 365. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement intelligent, scalable AI solutions that enable clients to automate business processes, enhance user experiences, and deliver measurable business value.

In this role, you will work closely with functional and technical specialists, consultants, and solution architects on our client's team, contributing to successful client engagements while continuously expanding your own technical expertise.

Given the rapid pace of innovation within Microsoft's AI ecosystem, you will also be expected to stay up to date with the latest developments across Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the broader Microsoft AI landscape, proactively applying new capabilities where they create value.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered agent solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, and Microsoft 365.
• Create and configure Copilot Studio agents, including workflows, prompts, instructions, skills, custom connectors, and handoff experiences.
• Develop integrations with Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and other enterprise platforms.
• Apply large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering techniques, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and knowledge grounding approaches to enhance agent performance, accuracy, and reliability.
• Contribute to solution architecture, technical design, implementation strategies, and platform best practices.
• Partner with clients and cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and deliver impactful AI and automation solutions.
• Support solution testing, debugging, documentation, maintenance, and continuous optimization.
• Stay current with the latest advancements across Microsoft AI technologies, including Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, AI Developer, Chatbot Developer, Technical Consultant, or Power Platform Specialist, ideally within Microsoft-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with, or a strong interest in, Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, or similar, primarily for custom development, integrations, and automation.
• Strong interest in or practical experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and intelligent business automation.
• Basic understanding of APIs, web services, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise system integrations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and practical technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
