3D Artist

We are looking for a 3D Artist to visualize imaginary creations that will engage with our audience. You’ll work within the product team to produce cutting-edge environments and visual elements for our products. Here, we foster a highly collaborative environment and need someone who is excited to work as a part of the team to create beautiful work.

3D Artists work closely with engineers, product managers, and other artists on the team. We constantly challenge ourselves, learn from experimentation, and push the quality bar higher.

Here’s what you’ll do

• Create stylized 3D assets in an organic, cartoon-inspired art style
• Transform 2D concepts, objects, and environments into high-quality 3D game assets
• Deliver high- and low-poly 3D models for mobile platforms
• Import, optimize, and integrate assets into Unity, with proper setup of materials and textures within the engine
• Create appealing stylized lighting and rendering setups
• Engage in technical and aesthetic problem-solving efforts

Desired skills and experiences

• University degree, preferably in Animation or a related field
• A portfolio that highlights your ability to work with different styles and techniques
• An understanding of Peak’s art style and the willingness to take it to new heights
• Strong understanding of topology and optimization
• Experience creating assets for mobile games
• Understanding of PBR and stylized workflows
• Experience with UV mapping and baking
• Strong sense of composition, color, and shape language

Areas in which you'll continue to grow

• Color, light, shade, form
• Creating texture maps and different material types
• Photoshop, Maya, and/or other 3D graphics and animation tools
• Creating stylized lighting and rendering
• Communicate effectively, plan and organize work activities, analyze the information
