About the Role

We are looking for a System Support Engineer to join a global Radio SW Laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a fully functional and operational test environment that supports radio performance testing and product development activities.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of the laboratory infrastructure while working closely with product development teams to support testing, troubleshooting, and prototype analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the radio laboratory test environment for performance testing activities.
• Ensure the laboratory remains fully operational and available for daily testing.
• Perform daily laboratory operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test systems and equipment.
• Support product design teams by performing fault analysis and debugging on prototype hardware and embedded software.
• Configure, maintain, and improve Linux-based test systems and automation environments.
• Manage laboratory software repositories and development tools, including Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to continuously improve test infrastructure and processes.
• Contribute to Lean and Agile ways of working and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) technologies and RF test instruments is a big plus.
• Experience with software development and DevOps tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
• Understanding of embedded software development and debugging.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Lean and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
