Data Analyst

We are looking for a versatile App Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to take ownership of our mobile application's data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between frontend user behavior and backend large-scale datasets. You will be responsible for designing event taxonomies, testing and validating implementations via Firebase, and collaborating closely with the development team. Furthermore, you will extract and join these product metrics with our backend datasets (using Amazon Athena, S3) to build scalable structures and deliver actionable insights.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Develop new reporting tools/processes and continuously build upon the existing analytics infrastructure.
• Identify performance trends in KPIs to proactively generate actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
• Build analytical models and work with both structured and unstructured datasets to drive critical business and monetization decisions.
• Adapt quickly to rapidly changing business priorities, troubleshooting complex data anomalies with a proactive problem-solving approach.

What You Need (Requirements):

• 3-5 years of proven data analytics experience working directly on a mobile application, with a solid understanding of core app metrics
• Significant experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Firebase event structures is a must.
• Proven hands-on experience in setting up, structuring, and analysing large-scale datasets using Amazon Athena, S3, and related AWS databases.
• Deep analytical skills and experience collecting, organizing, and analysing significant amounts of information with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of motivation, self-organization, and determination to take ownership of data structures.

• Passion for sports and an understanding of the dynamics of a sports audience.
• Proficiency in working with BI platforms (e.g., Power BI).
