Senior Data & AI Engineer – Oslo

My client is expanding their Data & AI capability and is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help design and deliver the next generation of cloud‑native, intelligent data platforms for enterprise customers.

Role Responsibilities

• Design modern data platforms including lakehouses, scalable pipelines, and high‑performance architectures
• Build ELT/ETL workflows and develop reliable, well‑structured data models
• Engineer cloud‑native solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and dbt
• Embed AI & GenAI into enterprise data platforms and business applications
• Advise customers on architecture, platform strategy, and engineering best practices
• Implement IaC & CI/CD using modern software engineering principles

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience building cloud data platforms
• Strong hands‑on skills with Microsoft Fabric, Spark (PySpark), SQL, Python, dbt, or similar tooling
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Fluent in Norwegian and English
• Based in — or willing to relocate to — Oslo
• Passion for scalable, maintainable, high‑quality engineering
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset
• Ability to take ownership and deliver independently
