Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with 7+ years of enterprise networking expertise to design, implement, and maintain critical infrastructure supporting banking and mission-critical applications. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with enterprise-scale network security, cloud integration, and infrastructure optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure supporting 24/7 business-critical applications
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced Layer 2/3 networking protocols (VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP) across Cisco and Juniper platforms
• Implement and manage F5 load balancers, including LTM configuration, VIP creation, SSL offloading, health monitoring, and traffic distribution
• Deploy and operate network security solutions: firewalls (FortiGate, F5), email security gateways (Cisco ESA), and web security appliances (Cisco WSA)
• Administer Efficient-IP DDI platforms for centralized DNS, DHCP, and IP address management with Active Directory integration
• Configure and maintain Cisco ISE for policy-based access control (802.1x, MAB) with compliance and posture assessment
• Manage Trellix (McAfee) endpoint protection platforms including ENS, EDR, DLP, and threat intelligence integration
• Monitor network performance, capacity planning, and optimization across infrastructure components
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues including application availability, latency, and data flow problems
• Support regulatory compliance audits (banking, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) with infrastructure documentation
• Has to work as single person managing customer’s Network Experience

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking design, deployment, and management
• Advanced knowledge of Layer 2/3 protocols: VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP
• Proven expertise configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper switches and routers
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancer (LTM, VIP, SSL offloading, health monitoring)
• Working knowledge of firewall operation and tuning (FortiGate, F5)
• Experience with email and web security appliances (Cisco ESA, Cisco WSA)
• Familiarity with enterprise DNS/DHCP/IPAM solutions (Efficient-IP preferred)
• Knowledge of endpoint security and EDR solutions (Trellix/McAfee preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with ability to diagnose complex network issues

Enterprise Networking

• Advanced Layer 2/3 protocol expertise: VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP)
• Dynamic routing protocols: OSPF and BGP configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Cisco and Juniper platform expertise: switch and router configuration, IOS/Junos management
• Network performance optimization, capacity planning, and traffic analysis

Load Balancing (F5 LTM)

• F5 BIG-IP LTM configuration and management
• Virtual IP (VIP) creation and traffic distribution across backend servers
• SSL/TLS offloading and certificate management
• Health checks, connection pooling, and session persistence (sticky sessions)

Network Security & Firewalls

• Firewall deployment, operation, and policy tuning (FortiGate, F5 AFM)
• Intrusion detection/prevention and advanced threat protection
• DDoS mitigation and traffic filtering strategies

Email & Web Security

• Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA) design, deployment, and operation
• Advanced email threat protection: spam filtering, antivirus, graymail, URL filtering
• Cisco Web Security Appliance (WSA) configuration for web filtering and content inspection
• DLP policy enforcement and email encryption

Endpoint Security & EDR

• Trellix (McAfee Enterprise) platform administration: ENS, EDR, DLP, ePO
• Endpoint protection policy deployment and threat prevention module tuning
• Integration with email/web gateways and threat intelligence feeds

DNS, DHCP & IPAM

• Efficient-IP DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) platform deployment and administration
• Centralized management of DNS zones, DHCP scopes, and IP address allocations

Active Directory integration for dynamic DNS updates and role-based access
