About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our growing team at DevHub. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of projects, from enhancing existing websites to developing custom web applications. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive skill set that includes:

• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end development.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards.
• Hands-on experience with PHP 8 and MySQL for back-end development.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience working with MVC frameworks, particularly Laravel.
• Ability to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party web services effectively.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic knowledge of GNU/Linux environments and Apache web servers.
• Experience with package managers such as Composer and npm.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities

The Web Developer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Transforming creative designs into dynamic, responsive, and accessible websites and applications.
• Building and maintaining custom functionalities using modern development practices.
• Testing websites across various browsers, operating systems, and devices to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
• Maintaining and updating existing websites and applications by troubleshooting issues, applying fixes, and deploying enhancements.
• Integrating third-party APIs and RESTful web services to extend functionality.
• Investigating and resolving application, database, and server-related issues promptly.
• Collaborating with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
• Participating in code reviews, documentation, and testing to uphold coding standards and quality assurance.
