Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong functional knowledge of accounting, solid process mapping capability and a genuine interest in technology enabled solutions. This role suits someone from a Big Four or similar consulting environment who is ready to step into a permanent position and take the next step in their career.

About the role

You will analyse business processes, document requirements and support the delivery of high value and high risk solutions across finance, risk and operational areas. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear specifications. You will also build your capability across modern technology platforms, including AI driven tools and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Map business processes and document functional requirements for finance and accounting workflows

• Support the delivery of high value and high risk solutions including AI enabled initiatives

• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear specifications

• Contribute to continuous improvement and structured problem solving

• Assist with testing, validation and documentation across system changes

• Build knowledge of technology platforms and emerging digital tools

• Apply data driven analysis and support governance and compliance activities

What you bring

• Experience in a Big Four or similar consulting environment would be ideal.

• Strong functional knowledge of accounting is a required.

• CA certification or progress toward CA is also essential

• Proven ability to map processes and analyse business requirements

• Interest in AI, automation and modern digital solutions

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability

• Six Sigma training or exposure to structured improvement methodologies
