Senior Embedded Engineer

Our client is seeking core members to contribute to the development of a web system that presents cell analysis data to medical professionals such as doctors. At this company, you will be exposed to an interdisciplinary environment, giving you the opportunity to gain experience in exciting technological and business development projects.

They are looking for engineers to develop embedded software for AI medical devices. If you have experience in any of the job content below, and have a strong interest in delivering technology to the medical field, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• Development of hardware control for devices such as cameras and mechanical devices.
• Development of embedded Linux applications.
• Microcontroller development.
• Image processing development, acceleration and parallelization using GPUs and similar technology.
• Development of embedded AI inference processing.
• Compliance with regulations and standards for software development in medical device manufacturing.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience in software development for embedded devices.

Practical experience with development related to C/C++, CUDA, C, Linux, V4L2, Gstreamer, OpenCV, and Python.

• Comfortable with reading and interpreting specifications and documents in English..
• Business level proficiency in English or Japanese, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in embedded Linux application development.
• Experience in GUI development for embedded devices.
• Experience in software development for medical devices.
• Knowledge and experience in building security systems for IoT devices and embedded devices.
• A Bachelor's or higher degree in the field of computer science.
