Design the Next Generation of Enterprise Cloud Platforms

We're supporting a major enterprise organisation on a large-scale cloud transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Platform Architect to help shape the future of its cloud platform strategy.

This is an opportunity to work on complex enterprise environments, designing modern platforms that enable secure, scalable and automated infrastructure across private, hybrid and sovereign cloud environments.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

• Designing enterprise-scale Platform Engineering and DevOps architectures
• Defining and evolving Kubernetes and container platform strategies
• Driving GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and platform automation initiatives
• Designing private, hybrid and sovereign cloud platforms
• Leading cloud migration and modernisation programmes, including transitions between hyperscalers, European cloud providers and private cloud environments
• Working closely with engineering teams, architects and customer stakeholders to deliver scalable platform solutions
• Providing technical leadership across complex cloud transformation initiatives

✅ What We're Looking For

• Strong background in Platform Architecture, Platform Engineering or Cloud Architecture
• Proven experience designing, building and operating enterprise Kubernetes platforms
• Hands-on expertise with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps automation
• Experience delivering cloud migration and platform modernisation programmes
• Strong knowledge of private, hybrid and sovereign cloud architectures
• Experience working within regulated or security-sensitive environments is highly desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
