About Alpine Business Consulting
Alpine Business Consulting is a specialized team that fixes enterprise performance management and reporting systems. Often, a large organization invests heavily in complex planning tools only to find that the initial setup was handled poorly. This results in finance teams dealing with numbers that do not match and month-end closes that take far too long. We step in to reconfigure these systems or build new ones from the ground up, ensuring a single source of truth that the business can actually trust.
We work differently than typical consulting firms. We prefer fixed-price quotes, predictable timelines, and thorough documentation. Our consultants have years of experience with Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern analytics stacks. We do not use client projects as a training ground for senior roles. Instead, we focus on providing a reliable handover so that the client can remain independent and successful long after our engagement ends.
About the role
We are currently supporting a major logistics firm headquartered internationally to overhaul their financial reporting and data architecture. This is a massive undertaking involving complex data sets and multiple business units. To keep this project moving efficiently, we are adding a Junior Project Manager to our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that is fully remote, allowing you to work from your preferred home setup while coordinating with a distributed team of experts.
As a Junior Project Manager, your primary focus will be supporting our senior consultants by managing project timelines, organizing documentation, and ensuring that communication between our team and the logistics firm remains clear and consistent. You will learn how enterprise software implementations work from the inside, seeing firsthand how we solve real-world problems for one of the largest names in the logistics industry.
What you will do
This position is a paid role and offers a competitive salary for an entry-level professional. We believe in being fair to our team members and providing a stable, permanent employment structure. Because we are a remote company, you will have the flexibility to manage your workspace while still being part of a high-functioning team of senior consultants who are happy to share their knowledge.
Working at Alpine Business Consulting means you will avoid the typical corporate fluff found at larger firms. We value direct honesty and technical accuracy. You will get to see how complex systems are actually fixed and gain experience that is highly valued in the corporate finance and technology sectors. We provide the tools and support you need to succeed, focusing on real-world results rather than internal politics.
Our goal is to leave every client with a system that works reliably every morning. By joining us as a Junior Project Manager, you help us maintain the high standards of documentation and predictability that our clients expect. You will play an important part in helping a global logistics leader stabilize their financial reporting, ensuring their teams have the clean data they need to make informed decisions for years to come.
