Senior Java Full Stack Developer (Java + React) – Contract Opportunity

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week at the client office)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java and React to join our client's team in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing enterprise-grade applications, microservices, and cloud-native solutions within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Java and React.
• Develop and consume RESTful and JSON/SOAP APIs.
• Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and design patterns.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and cloud-native application development.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and React (mandatory).
• Experience with Java JDK 8, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Maven, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services and JSON/SOAP-based APIs.
• Experience with SQL, multi-threading, message queuing, and distributed systems.
• Good understanding and implementation of design patterns.
• Experience with JUnit or other automated unit testing frameworks.
• Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk.
• Strong experience with Git and Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud-native development using Cloud Foundry, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with enterprise-scale applications.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud technologies and containerized applications.

Work Model:

• Hybrid working model with 3 days onsite per week in Dublin, Ireland.
