The Role
As HR Generalist, the successful candidate will report to the HR Business Partner. This role will support managers and employees across multiple sites laundry and linen services operation, provide guidance on employee relations matters, recruitment, performance management, HR administration and ensuring compliance with Irish employment law. The role is support delivering people service that aligns workforce strategies with operational objectives while ensuring a positive employee experience across sites. The role requires regular travel between sites.

- Provide first line HR support and guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
- Assist in conducting investigations and preparing documentation in line with company policies and Irish employment legislation
- Support conflict resolution and promote a positive workplace culture
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and offers for assigned sites.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes to ensure a smooth new hire experience
- Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR requirements
- Prepare regular and up-to-date HR reports
- Support managers with probation reviews and performance improvement plans.
- Coach managers on best practices for employee development and engagement.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with Irish employment legislation
- Assist with identifying training needs and coordinating learning initiatives
- Support the delivery of HR trainings and workshops.
- Support employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of wellbeing programmes
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR admin or generalist role
- Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practice across ROI & NI.
- Experience supporting employee relations cases
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Organised, commercially aware, and able to balance multiple priorities.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or production environments.
- Experience working within a unionised environment.
