Network Specialist
Location: Hengelo, Netherlands (Hybrid – 3 days/week in the office)
Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent Contract
Eligibility: Candidates must hold EU or NATO member country citizenship and be eligible for the required security clearance.
We are looking for a Network Engineer with 3+ years of experience in Cisco networking to support advanced Naval Combat Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain secure network infrastructure.
- Deploy and support networks for operator consoles, radar, and sensor systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimize network performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for system integration and testing.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience with Cisco Routing, Switching, OSPF, PIM Multicast, Firewalling.
- CCNA certification (mandatory); CCNP preferred.
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHCE preferred).
- Experience with Cisco ASA, OpenSCAP, Nessus, DISA STIG, and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Python, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, and Agile/Scaled Scrum is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, System & Network Engineering, or a related field.
