Associate Backend Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for an Associate Backend Engineer to join the Our team. The successful candidate will help design, develop, and maintain backend application modules while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Continuously learn new technologies and development best practices.

Required Skills:

Core Technical Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database and basic SQL.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Experience using:
• Git / Git Stash
• JIRA
• Confluence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English.

Candidate Requirements

The candidate should have:

• Minimum 2 years of Java Backend Development experience
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Minimum High School Diploma (Baccalaureate) or higher qualification
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, Oracle, Maven/Gradle, Git, and JIRA
