🔎 About the role
We’re hiring a Mid Integration & Automation Engineer — MarTech, AI Enablement & Custom Development: a practical, curious builder who can connect tools, automate repetitive work, and build lightweight custom solutions when off-the-shelf tools are not enough.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing operations, integrations, workflow automation, AI tools, and custom development. You’ll work closely with marketing, creative, web funnels, data, retention and operations teams to understand where time is being lost, then design and implement solutions that remove friction.
Some problems will be solved with Make, Zapier, n8n, Airtable, or APIs. Others may need custom development in tools like Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, or Google Apps Script. You’ll have the freedom to choose the most practical approach, as long as the solution is reliable, maintainable, and saves the team time.
You won’t just be handed perfect technical specs. Instead, you’ll talk to people, understand their workflows, translate messy business needs into clear technical solutions, and ship automations, integrations, dashboards, internal tools, or custom interfaces that teams actually use.
This is a role for someone who enjoys figuring things out, loves improving processes, and is excited about using AI to make teams smarter, faster, and more efficient.
🚀 What you’ll own
- End-to-end implementation of automations, integrations, and lightweight custom tools across our marketing and operational stack
- Building internal tools, dashboards, forms, workflow interfaces, and custom apps using modern web technologies when no-code or low-code tools are not enough
- Creating custom solutions with tools like Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, webhooks, Google Apps Script, and automation platforms
- Translating requests from non-technical teammates into clear workflows, system requirements, and working solutions
- Building automations that reduce manual work across campaign operations, reporting, lead/customer journeys, creative workflows, CRM updates, customer segmentation, notifications, and internal processes
- Connecting tools through APIs, webhooks, native integrations, automation platforms, and lightweight custom scripts
- Deciding when to use no-code, low-code, AI-assisted development, or custom code based on speed, reliability, maintainability, and business impact
- Helping teams use AI tools more effectively by building prompts, workflows, assistants, automations, and practical internal use cases
- Monitoring, debugging, and improving existing automations and custom tools so they stay accurate, reliable, and easy to maintain
- Creating reusable automation and development patterns that can scale across multiple brands and teams
🏆 You might be the one if…
- You have hands-on experience building automations, integrations, internal tools, or lightweight web apps
- You’re comfortable with APIs, webhooks, JSON, data flows, and automation platforms
- You can build custom solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React or Next.js
- You’re comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to move faster, prototype ideas, and solve unfamiliar problems
- You’re good at talking to non-technical people, asking the right questions, and turning vague requests into practical solutions
- You enjoy saving people time and get satisfaction from making messy workflows simpler
- You’re AI-enthusiastic and already experimenting with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Make, Zapier, n8n, Relevance AI, Airtable AI, or similar platforms
- You have enough technical experience to build reliable solutions, but you’re still curious, humble, and eager to learn
- You’re comfortable working in ambiguity and can propose solutions instead of waiting for perfect instructions
Bonus points
- Experience with MarTech tools such as Klaviyo, Braze, Attentive, Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, Segment, Triple Whale, Shopify, HubSpot, Intercom, Zendesk, Typeform, or similar
- Experience working in e-commerce, DTC, growth, marketing, or agency environments
- Ability to quickly evaluate whether a solution should be built with no-code, low-code, AI-assisted development, or custom code
