The Role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer within Commodity to strengthen our Final Assembly organization. In this role, you will drive process development, equipment strategies, and industrialization from a commodity perspective, ensuring robust, efficient and scalable manufacturing solutions across plants. Drive manufacturing process design and equipment strategies within your commodity area. Lead and support industrialization activities from concept through SOP. Act as the key interface between Technology Development, suppliers, and plants. Secure standardization and best practice across global manufacturing


Main responsibilities

  • Define process concepts, requirements, and technical solutions for new programs
  • Be a part of RFQ preparation, supplier selection and technical evaluations
  • Join design reviews with equipment suppliers
  • Verify equipment performance (cycle time, capacity, capability, quality)
  • Contribute to and verify P-FMEA and risk mitigation activities
  • Secure alignment between MBOM, BOP, and BOE
  • Drive virtual and physical verification activities
  • Ensure readiness for industrialization, commissioning, and launch
  • Capture and deploy lessons learned and technical standards
  • Act as technical support to plants during implementation and launch


Required qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Automation or similar)
  • Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably within automotive
  • Strong understanding of process design (MBOM, BOP, BOE)
  • Experience with RFQ processes and supplier interface
  • Experience in industrialization, verification, and launch
  • Analytical, structured and result-oriented
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
