About the Role:

For our client, we are looking for a Application Security Coordinator / IT Security Specialist to take charge of the vulnerability remediation landscape. Combining deep technical security knowledge with strong coordination skills, you will translate penetration test results and vulnerability scans into structured remediation actions, driving risk-based prioritization and mitigation execution across complex stakeholder groups and technical teams.

• Coordinating outcomes from complex security testing activities and penetration test workflows.
• Assessing software and infrastructure vulnerabilities and prioritizing remediation backlogs based on business risk.
• Driving multi-team remediation efforts to completion while actively tracking and monitoring mitigation progress.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional business units, engineering squads, and technical teams to resolve findings.
• Establishing, following, and optimizing security governance frameworks and progress reporting processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong, comprehensive understanding of application security practices and core enterprise infrastructure layers.
• Proven experience tracking, interpreting, and working with vulnerability scan results and formal penetration test reports.
• Deep knowledge of global security standards and scoring frameworks, specifically CVE, CWE, and CVSS standards.
• Strong ability to coordinate and drive remediation activities in a structured, measurable manner.
• Hands-on experience using Jira to track, assign, manage, and report on security defects and work items.
• Fluency in English with elite stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior security coordination or remediation experience operating within highly regulated Banking or Financial Services environments.
