Tech Lead

We're looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join a well-established technology organisation in Bergen that is investing heavily in modern software development. This is an opportunity to lead a team while remaining hands-on with development, helping shape customer-facing digital products used by thousands of users.

You'll join one of the company's largest development teams, playing a key role in replacing a core platform and delivering modern APIs, integrations and digital services in an agile environment.

What you'll be doing

• Leading a cross-functional team of developers while remaining technically hands-on
• Designing and developing scalable backend solutions using .NET and C#
• Building modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript
• Driving technical decisions, architecture and engineering best practices
• Working closely with developers, UX designers, testers and business stakeholders
• Mentoring team members and helping to raise engineering standards across the department
• Contributing to the ongoing modernisation of a business-critical platform

Tech Stack

• .NET / C#
• React
• TypeScript
• REST APIs
• HTML & CSS

Experience with F# or Elm is beneficial but not essential.

We're looking for someone with

• Strong experience as a full-stack developer
• Excellent knowledge of .NET, C# and API development
• Commercial experience with React and TypeScript
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead or similar leadership role
• Strong understanding of software architecture and modern engineering practices
• Experience working in agile development teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent Norwegian language skills

Experience from banking, finance, fintech or other business-critical software environments would be an advantage.
