Objective

1. The objective of this scope of work is to define the roles, responsibilities, and expectations for the Project Leader Consultant responsible for overseeing and monitoring the process of ERP project for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) implementation.

2. Role Overview

The PLC will work with the project manager, including technical, functional, and business stakeholders, to ensure that the ERP implementation adheres to the appropriate applicable standards. The PL Consultants will be responsible for monitoring project deliverables, validating testing procedures, reviewing code quality, and ensuring compliance with KPIs and SLAs throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Compliance & Monitoring
• Review and approve project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure they align with the project scope and KPIs.
• Conduct periodic audits to evaluate progress against established standards.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clearly defined and adhered to.
• Test Management
• Define, manage, and execute the overall test plan for the ERP Dynamics 365 implementation.
• Validate all unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure each deliverable meets the required standards.
• Develop and manage test case execution and ensure they cover all key areas of the ERP system.
• Ensure that defect management processes are implemented, tracked, and monitored to closure.
• Documentation Review & Compliance
• Review system design documents, configuration documentation, and customization guidelines to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Ensure documentation is kept updated and complete for each stage of the implementation process.
• Ensure that all project phases, including development, data migration, and user training, follow the specified processes and timelines.
• Process & Performance Monitoring
• Monitor and report on the performance of the ERP system throughout the implementation phase to ensure it meets predefined standards.
• Track any deviations from established standards and assist in corrective action plans.
• Risk & Issue Management
• Identify potential risks to the project's quality, including delays, resource constraints, and technical challenges.
• Report and escalate critical quality-related issues to project leadership.
• Ensure all risks are documented, mitigated, and tracked through resolution.
• Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
• Provide regular compliance reports to StreeCo.
• Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and Microsoft representatives to ensure smooth execution and testing of the ERP system.
• Final Review & Approval
• Provide final validation and approval of all project deliverables, including customizations, integrations, data migration, and training.
• Conduct the final quality check on go-live preparation, ensuring that the system is stable and meets business requirements.

4. Deliverables

• Compliance Reports: Regular reports on compliance audits, testing results, risk assessments, and progress.
• Test Plans and Test Cases: Detailed test plans and scenarios for each phase of the project.
• Risk and Issue Log: Comprehensive documentation of risks and issues with mitigation plans.
• Final PLC Approval Report: Documentation summarizing the successful completion of all Project activities, sign-offs for each project phase, and readiness for go-live.

5. Timeline & Duration

• The PL Consultants will be involved across all phases of the ERP Dynamics 365 implementation, from the design phase through to post-go-live support.
• Estimated Duration: 6-9 months, with flexibility depending on project progress.

6. Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Project Leader in large-scale ERP implementations, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of ERP quality standards, testing strategies, and process management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture and its customization capabilities.
• Experience in test management tools, such as Azure DevOps, Quality Center, or other similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Makes an Excellent presentation of the project timeline for the StreeCo.

7. Reporting Structure

The PL Consultant will be with ERP Project Manager and will collaborate closely with the technical implementation team (SI), Microsoft consultants, and other key project stakeholders.
