Java Web Developer

This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy and We are looking to hire Java Developer in Calgary, AB (Onsite), immediately who has strong experience in Java, Spring boot & Vaadin (front-end).

Role Overview:

• Role is Order-to-Cash (OTC) Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience building enterprise applications using Java/Spring Boot and relational databases.
• Hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and JavaScript.
• Strong SQL skills, including query writing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Vaadin (front-end) development experience.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, including user stories, sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Engineering mindset with a strong sense of ownership; inquisitive, analytical, and quality-focused.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
