Senior C++ Developer

🚨 Hiring: Senior / Lead C++ Software Engineer (IBM z/OS)

📍 Richmond Hill, ON (Remote)

📅 6-Month Contract

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with strong C/C++ systems programming experience to support the development of a security-critical cryptographic platform. This role involves hands-on coding, technical leadership, cross-platform development, SDK integration, build engineering, and support for complex enterprise environments.

Must Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with C/C++ development
• Experience with systems programming across Linux, Windows, AIX, or other platforms
• Strong knowledge of applied cryptography, including encryption, key management, TLS/SSL, and message authentication
• Experience with Java development and SDK integration
• Experience working with native interop / cross-language bindings
• Strong experience with CMake, CI/CD pipelines, build engineering, and release tooling
• Ability to lead design reviews, mentor developers, and contribute directly to production code

Nice to Have:

• Experience with HSMs, PKCS#11, nCipher, Atalla, or Thales Luna
• Experience with IBM z/OS, HPE NonStop, JCL, HLASM, or SMP/E
• Experience with C#/.NET, NuGet packaging, or native interop
• Knowledge of payment security standards, PCI-DSS, EMV, or ISO 8583
• Interest or experience in post-quantum cryptography
• This is a senior hands-on engineering role requiring strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and the ability to work on complex enterprise security platforms.
