This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous YC-backed AI data infrastructure startup transforming how developers extract and use data from the web.

We are seeking highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineers to help drive our integration ecosystem and be the technical face of our client’s innovative solutions to a developer-first audience. If our description aligns with your skillset, we’ll introduce you directly to the founding team.

Location: San Francisco, CA / hybrid, with responsibilities for event travel as the program scales

Compensation: $220k–$260k base + up to 0.1% equity

Employment type: Full-time

About the role

In this high-impact position, you will spearhead the development of first-party connectors for leading agent frameworks and no-code platforms. Your role will involve creating live demo artifacts, debugging complex integrations, and deploying production-quality solutions directly into the hands of developers worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain strong, production-level integrations for top agent frameworks
• Develop reusable codebases and integration playbooks
• Lead live demos and launch technical builds for major events
• Work directly with developers to solve edge cases and integration challenges
• Streamline integration processes to support core engineering efforts

The Ideal Candidate

• 3–8 years of experience with TypeScript/Node.js and integrating developer-focused products
• Expertise in backend development with frontend skills to demo credibly
• Strong communicator comfortable engaging technical developer audiences
• GitHub or public technical presence is preferred
• Based in San Francisco, with the ability to travel for events

• You are not able to regularly work on-site in San Francisco and travel for events
