DevOps Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 5to8 years of experience to build, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS, DevOps practices, and CI/CD automation, enabling reliable application delivery and operational excellence. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance system performance, security, and availability across enterprise environments.

What You'll Do:

• We are looking for a skilled Automation / DevOps Engineer with around 5 years of experience who will focus on cost optimization initiatives on AWS.
• The candidate will design and implement automation solutions to monitor, control, and optimize cloud costs while improving operational efficiency
• Create and maintain Jenkins pipelines for automation and deployment processes
• Monitor and analyze AWS cost and usage reports (CUR, Cost Explorer)
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Engineering teams to enforce cost governance policies
• Implement tagging strategies and automation to ensure proper cost allocation Document automation workflows, scripts, and processes Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Automation Engineering

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Working experience with: o AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM)
• AWS Lambda for automation AWS CodeCommit
• Experience with CI/CD tools, especially,Jenkins (pipeline development is required)
• Good understanding of AWS pricing models (On-demand, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot) Cost optimization best practices
• Experience with FinOps practices
• Knowledge of cost management tools
• Exposure to container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and automate solutions
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ownership mindset with attention to detail Key Outcomes
• Reduction in AWS cloud costs
• Improved operational efficiency via automation Scalable and reusable automation frameworks
• Educational Background:Any graudation PG /MCA/MBA in IT
