FTS is looking for a Junior Technical Support Assistant to join our Technical Assistance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career professional to develop technical skills, learn enterprise software support, and work closely with experienced software engineers and product specialists.

FTS Financial Transparency Solutions GmbH (FTS) is an award winning SupTech (Supervisory Technology) industry software provider designing and developing Anti-Money Laundering software tools for Supervisory Authorities. FTS has a vision of designing and building state-of-the-art software in the area of financial crime prevention. FTS’s main product baseline, Strix AML modules, are commercially available but undergo continuous development and may be expanded upon for each new client’s specific needs and operating environment. Key Responsibilities

·        Provide first-line technical support to customers and internal users.

·        Learn our products and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.

·        Assist with troubleshooting software, configuration, and connectivity issues.

·        Monitor support tickets and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

·        Update support documentation.

·        Document issues, solutions, and support procedures.

·        Escalate complex technical problems to software developers and senior support specialists.

·        Help test software fixes and updates before release.

·        Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical findings.

Qualifications

·        Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Good communication skills in English.

·        One of the following:

• Basic understanding of software applications, databases, networking, operating systems or security,
• Familiarity with financial crime prevention, anti-money laundering, counter financing of terrorism, or
• Data collection, risk modelling, data science, power BI

·        Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude toward customer service.

·        Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.

·        Disciplined and responsible

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote), Teams

• Strong in Excel
• Power BI a plus

Knowledge of Cyber Security

Knowledge of the Microsoft Software Stack

·        MS Windows Server, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure

·        .NET Core, EF Core

According to the collective bargaining agreement, the gross monthly salary for pay grade ST1 Young Professionals is €3.104,00 and for Entry Level in ST1 is €3.2067,00 depending on previous work experience.

Overpayment based on qualifications.

Must reside in Austria in Vienna or surrounding area, have EU citizenship or have existing work permit, work from home, meetings in-person occur in Vienna
