For Nipro Europe Group Companies, we are looking for a Data Analyst/Engineer who is experienced, hands-on, and communicative to join us in our IT & Digitalization team, based in our EMEA headquarters office in Mechelen, Belgium.
About The Role
The Data Engineer / Data Analyst is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytical datasets that support business intelligence and advanced analytics use cases. This role translates business requirements into robust data models, ensures data quality and consistency, and enables efficient data consumption across reporting and analytical platforms.
The Data Engineer / Data Analyst proactively identifies opportunities to improve data processes, data models, and platform performance.
There is a strong emphasis on data governance, data quality, and adherence to standards within data integration, transformation logic, and analytical reporting, ensuring reliable and trusted data across the organization.

How You Will Contribute
BI Projects (70%)
- Main driver of the requirements analysis of BI projects.
- Actively working on the corporate datamodel.
- Customer facing the IT projects and take the lead on steerco and status meetings.
- Validation of proposed solution designs.
- Be involvement in the development and check if company standards are applied.
- Initiate improvements on the BI Stack. (Azure, AI, Snowflake, Powerplatform, SAP BI)
- Governance, Standards on datamodeling, ETL and reporting
- Follow-up high prior incidents and take ownership if needed.
- Follow-up all BI Change request.
- SPOC for business requests.
- A previous strong experience in data analysis
- Microsoft Azure
- SAP BI
- Knwoledge of Governance, Standards on datamodeling, ETL and reporting
- Fluency in English
- Ability to take iniatives and to build up processes
- International work environment: 37 different nationalities
