💚 Your role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with Spring Boot expertise to join our Product Engineering team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the group to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services that power the PLG platform. You'll play a key role in shaping our backend architecture, driving technical excellence, and leveraging AI-assisted development to build high-quality, efficient solutions.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as backend developers, designers, and product owners, to architect, develop, and deploy robust web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Optimize application performance diagnose and resolve issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Participate actively in code reviews, offering insightful feedback to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Keep on top of the latest advancements and trends in Java development, particularly in the Spring Boot ecosystem, and propose enhancements to continually improve application performance and maintainability.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Promotes and applies proven AI-assisted development workflows and researches new AI use cases to improve development efficiency and engineering practices. 

Required skills:

• Proven expertise in Java development with a strong understanding of the Spring Boot framework.
• Experienced in building REST API-s.
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate / JPA.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes + Docker.
• Good knowledge of Kafka (or similar).
• Familiarity with modern services architecture concepts.
• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, while also possessing the autonomy to work independently when necessary.
• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic workflows is a plus.
• Experience with GCP is a plus.
• Experience with C# is a plus.
• Experience with modern frontend development using Angular or a similar framework is a plus.
