Your Responsibilities

You'll participate in building the services for our serverless portfolio: managed containers & batch jobs, serverless workloads (PaaS/FaaS), public and internal APIs, queue systems and analytics. You'll work closely with other team members and our SRE teams on resource-provisioning APIs that run on Kubernetes, uphold security standards needed for running customer code safely, and help support customers running production workloads on the platform.

Your Key Requirements

• 2–5 years of backend development experience
• Proficiency with Go, including APIs, concurrency, performance optimization and caching.
• Experience in shipping containerized applications and operating within the Kubernetes ecosystem
• Proficiency in working with SQL databases and designing scalable data models, including familiarity with Go database tooling.
• TDD-based way of working with automated tooling, working with production-like setups rather than mocking with interfaces
  
  

Nice To Have

• TypeScript & Node.js ecosystem expertise (NestJS, Express)
• Event-based software architecture experience (with Kafka, NATS or something else)
• Experience from working in a team that creates, ships and maintains their software. We don't throw responsibilities over the fence.
• Experience of ML engineering, and what people working on training and/or inference need.
• Previous cloud-infrastructure experience, not just from using it but by creating services (IaaS, PaaS, etc) that other people use.
