A growing FinTech is building the next generation of liquidity and treasury management software. Their platform helps organisations of all sizes understand their cash position today and in the future, avoiding insolvency and enabling smarter financial decisions.

Alongside their core treasury platform, the company is investing in AI-driven capabilities designed to enhance financial forecasting, treasury operations, and decision-making for enterprise customers.

They’re now looking for a Software Architect to join their 10-15 person development team and take on a pivotal role in shaping their cloud-native product.

What you’ll be working on:

• Designing and developing new backend modules for payments, treasury, and financial instruments
• Building modern, scalable architectures with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Microservices and cloud technologies
• Supporting the ongoing migration and recovery from legacy systems to a multi-tenant cloud solution
• Contributing to the evolution of AI-enhanced capabilities within the platform, helping customers gain deeper insights into liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk
• Taking ownership of technical decision-making within a team culture where developers have real independence

What we’re looking for:

• Strong professional experience with Java development and backend systems
• Exposure to architecture, system design, or technical leadership alongside hands-on coding
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Microservices)
• Excellent German language skills (English is a plus)
• Experience within mathematics, treasury, banking, payments, financial services, or other complex financial environments
• An interest in data-driven systems, analytics, or AI-powered software solutions would be advantageous
