Kubernetes Engineer

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid)

Salary: €5,000–€7,400 gross/month + Bonus + Benefits

We're partnering with a leading international financial services organisation to find an experienced Chief Kubernetes Engineer to help shape the next generation of cloud-native infrastructure.

This is a senior engineering role focused on building and evolving a large-scale Kubernetes platform supporting thousands of workloads across private and public cloud environments. You'll play a key role in expanding AWS EKS capabilities while helping drive automation, platform engineering best practices, and cloud adoption across the organisation.


What you'll be doing:

• Designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms in AWS (EKS).

• Developing Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD tooling.

• Building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on reliability and observability.

• Providing technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure teams, developers, and platform users.

• Troubleshooting complex production issues and continuously improving platform performance.

• Contributing to the technical roadmap and helping shape the future direction of the organisation's cloud platform.


What we're looking for:

• 3+ years' experience designing, deploying and operating Kubernetes platforms in production.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS EKS and core AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Route 53 and Load Balancers.

• Solid Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and automation tools such as Ansible.

• Experience with CI/CD platforms including GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, monitoring, observability and operational best practices.
