We are currently looking for a Mid-Level .NET Software Engineer to join a long-term international project with Julius Baer, one of Switzerland’s leading private wealth management groups.

👤 About the role

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer with solid experience in C#, .NET Framework, and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 8+) who enjoys building high-quality backend solutions and modernizing enterprise applications.

You will work in an international environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and maintain critical software solutions while contributing to modernization initiatives and cloud-native adoption.

🎯 Main responsibilities

💻 Backend Development

🔹 Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software solutions using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET 8+.

🔹 Participate in modernization projects, migrating legacy applications to modern .NET platforms.

🔹 Build scalable web applications and RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.

🗄️ Data & Persistence

🔹 Develop efficient data access layers using Entity Framework / EF Core.

🔹 Work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other relational databases.

🔹 Optimize SQL queries and support database troubleshooting.

⚙️ DevOps & Cloud

🔹 Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

🔹 Work with Docker containerization.

🔹 Collaborate in environments using Kubernetes (nice to have).

🔍 Quality & Engineering Excellence

🔹 Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

🔹 Apply clean architecture principles, dependency injection, unit testing, and code reviews.

🔹 Contribute to observability and monitoring initiatives (OpenTelemetry is a plus).

👤 Your profile

✔ 3–5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

✔ Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 8+.

✔ Experience building ASP.NET Core applications and REST APIs.

✔ Solid knowledge of Entity Framework / EF Core.

✔ Experience working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.

✔ Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

✔ Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills.

✔ Good understanding of software engineering best practices.

✔ English level B2+ or higher.

✔ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

⭐ Nice to have

🔹 Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.

🔹 Messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.

🔹 OpenTelemetry or other observability frameworks.

🔹 Identity and authorization systems (Active Directory).

🔹 Experience with legacy system modernization.
