Penetration Tester

We are looking for a Senior Penetration Tester to join a high-visibility cyber security programme, focused on AI-enabled vulnerability research and advanced bug hunting across critical internal applications.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of penetration testing, automation, and AI, contributing to the development of next-generation security testing capabilities.

Role Overview

You will lead manual and AI-assisted penetration testing activities, focusing on identifying real, exploitable risks across internet-facing and internal applications.

The role combines deep offensive security expertise with automation and AI-driven techniques, including exploit validation, vulnerability chaining, and risk-based triage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced penetration testing and bug hunting activities
• Leverage AI tools to enhance vulnerability discovery and analysis
• Validate and chain exploits to demonstrate real risk
• Support vulnerability management and triage processes
• Contribute to automation and tooling for scalable security testing
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support remediation and improvements
• Help define repeatable testing standards and best practices

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in penetration testing (senior level)
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and bug hunting
• Exposure to or interest in AI-driven security testing (must-have, but not expert level)
• Ability to automate processes and build tools/systems
• Strong understanding of application security and exploit techniques
• Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to challenge findings (including AI outputs)
