Detailed Responsibilities

  • Provide second-level incident management, troubleshooting, and patch management for load balancers and firewalls within the production network security environment.
  • Lead and participate in major incident response calls, identifying necessary resources and delivering thorough root cause analysis for production outages.
  • Oversee service restoration, sustainability, and proactive improvements to enhance network security operations.
  • Execute repeatable move, add, and change (MAC) activities for security and proxy services.
  • Drive lifecycle implementation projects, including building comprehensive support documentation.
  • Act as a point of contact for engineering teams regarding incident and change management.
  • Utilize production monitoring tools to ensure optimal system availability and performance.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal customers to ensure transparency and service excellence.

Skill Requirements

  • Good years’ experience in IT network operations, with a strong focus on network security.
  • Proven experience working within a global, cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in troubleshooting and managing complex network security environments and associated tools.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant industry certifications (such as CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

Other Requirements (Optional)

  • Hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA), Citrix, or NSX-ALB.
  • Experience deploying global network security design standards and ensuring compliance with internal audit, IT risk, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced skills in designing network security environments and tools.
  • Familiarity with multiple firewall and proxy platforms (e.g., Zscaler, Cisco, Azure, NSX-T, Fortinet, Checkpoint).
  • Ability to track availability and resolve technical project incidents.
  • Flexibility to adapt workload and priorities as required by ongoing transformation programs.
  • Competence in translating port/protocol traffic flows into documented security policies and risk assessments.
  • Experience implementing security policies on various network security platforms (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet).
  • Strong communication skills to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
