Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align backend development with business needs
- Take ownership of production systems by proactively monitoring and resolving issues
- Develop and maintain Java backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x to deliver scalable solutions
- Build and support microservices and REST/Graph QL APIs to enable seamless service integration
- Implement and manage AWS cloud services including ECS, EC2, and RDS to support application infrastructure
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate and standardize cloud resource provisioning
- Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, AWS Code Commit, and Code Pipeline for efficient software delivery
- Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance
- Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and AWS CloudWatch to track system health and troubleshoot issues
- Manage authentication and authorization processes using Okta to secure applications
- Integrate APIs using MuleSoft to connect diverse systems and services
- 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
- 3+ years of experience with Okta for authentication/authorization
- 3+ years of experience with MuleSoft for API integration
