Vernovis is looking for a Software Developer II that will have hands on .NET development experience who will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications that enable critical business operations against our client’s organization. This role parters closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions using technologies such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and REST APIs. The developer will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture and design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate needs into scalable .NET-based solutions.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs, system integrations, and backend services that support critical business applications and data workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and production support issues by analyzing code, data, and system performance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing application support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

What You'll Have:

• Strong hands-on development experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs, developing service-based architectures, and integrating enterprise applications.
• Proficiency with Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and data-driven application development.
• Experience with modern development tools and practices including Visual Studio, Azure DevOps/TFS, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to work directly with business partners and technical teams to deliver solutions.
